An Austro-Hungarian silver and ivory-mounted travelling breakfast service
maker's mark of Reiner and E.D., circa 1890
In the Empire style, engraved with initials LB beneath a coronet, comprising:
- A two-handled engine-turned tray with wooden back, 67,5 cm. (26¾ in.) long
- A kettle, stand and lamp with part-ivory swing handle and swan finial
- A similar teapot
- A cream jug with ivory handle
- A hot-plate stand with glass liner - Two two-handled sugar-bowls
- A pair of teacups with ivory insulators and saucers
- A small shallow bowl
- A pair of eggcups on stands
- A double salt-cellar
- Twelve various pieces of table-silver
fully marked, all in fitted case, similarly engraved
the tray 67.5 cm. (26¾ in.) long; the case 72.5 cm. (28½ in.) long
