A fine Dutch silver beaker
Maker's mark of Willem Everts, Groningen, 1671/1672
Trumpet-shaped, on cast domed base decorated with cherubs, fruit, bandwork and floral scrolls, trellis, floral and applied thorn band above, the body engraved with birds, bandwork and hanging fruit, alternating three oval scrolled, floral medallions, each engraved with a symbollic figure, 'Hope', 'Faith' and 'Charity'
