The thinly potted sides raised on a cylindrical foot, finely painted with a continuous scene of numerous swallows among gnarled fur trees, bamboo shrubs and orchids issuing beside rockwork, the inner roundel with a single bird perched on a prunus branch, below a band of peony and orchid sprays divided by butterflies on the everted rim (minute rim chip, fritting to the inner foot rim)
