The radiating top centred by a malachite roundel and specimen marble panels including lapis lazuli, porphyry, jasper, Verde Antico, Nero di Aquitania, and other marbles framed by black marble and within a white marble ground and verde antico outer border, the panelled frieze mounted with floral ornaments above three scrolled supports with further scrolled foliate and palmette mounts, centred by a shaped stretcher with a circular parquetry platform and on stiff leaf and patera scrolled sabots, originally with castors, some mounts missing
