A pair of Chinese mirror image paintings in oil on canvas
depicting a recumbent lady with suckling child, her daughter seated behind on the marble day bed beneath pale blue draped curtains decorated with floral motifs -- 25in. x 38½in. (63.5cms x 97.7cms), circa 1800, wood frames, (one with minor rippling and slight wear to upper left corner, areas of retouching and slight crackling; the other with minor areas of retouching and surface wear).
