The cariatides case mounted with painted porcelain side panels depicting allegorical love scenes, one showing a young girl being chastised by her parent whilst Cupid and his amorini hide, the other showing a young girl in a garden, weighing Cupid against a gift on a pair of scales, the dial showing two women seated in a park, one releasing winged amorini from a cage, the other with an amorino on her knee, with plain white Roman chapter ring above, blued hands, the twin barrel movement with silvered platform to the bimetallic balance, strike/repeat on gong to the backplate stamped for V. Reclus and numbered 127
