The drum-shaped case surmounted by a figure of a cherub with scythe, on foliate cast supports to part-fluted rectangular section columns rising from berried laurel galleries, on D-ended breakfront base mounted with the figures of four amorini trailing a swag, with beaded gallery mount and recessed panels inset with ribbon-tied floral mounts, on six toupie feet, the white enamel Arabic chapter ring painted with floral swags and signed Crosnier Paris, with pierced gilt-metal hands, the twin barrel movement with countwheel strike on bell, with radiant mask pendulum
