Signed Fourni Par Lepage Paris, No. 1956, circa 1815
With multigroove rifled swamped octagonal sighted barrels each with inscription on the top flat, gilt fore-sight, single gilt band at the muzzle and double gilt band at the breech, and traces of gilding around the touch-holes, one barrel retaining some of its original blued finish, case-hardened flat bevelled locks each with rounded tail and pierced cock, serial numbered walnut half-stocks (one with minor defects), shaped iron mounts retaining some case-hardened finish on one pistol, chequered butts, and original iron ramrods, the barrels by Antoine Mrieu
