Maker's mark stamped GORHAM & COMPANY PROVIDENCE RI STERLING, probably circa 1850
Comprising teapot, hinged covered squat spouted milk jug and two-handled covered sugar bowl, each baluster, flat-chased scalework ground, two cartouches, one script engraved J.E. Dimond, with vertical plants (?cat tails, maize), between, the shoulder and hinged raised cover with overlapping leaves, with rusticated tendril handle and spout, with ?morning glory finial, the teapot--8in. (20.9cm.) high, gross weight 67.5oz. (3)
