A RETICULATED PALE CELADON JADE INCENSE BURNER AND COVER
18th Century
Of compressed bomb form, raised on three lotus blossom supports surrounding lotus designs on the base, the sides deeply carved and pierced with two large lotus blossoms surrounded by scrolling leaves and tendrils, with a pair of lotus blossom handles, the domed cover carved with a band of similar decoration below a band of chrysanthemum petals and ring knop, the pale celadon stone with some opaque white and buff inclusions
