Appliqu in ivory silk with linked stylised scrolling foliage, the centre with a shield in yellow satin, halved, one half embroidered with fleur de lys, some wear and restorations, re-edged and re-backed

Lot Essay

The first runner is worked with the Arms of the Cordova family from Andalusia, Marquesses of Comars since 1512.
