A family group of four 18th Century gold mourning rings,
comprising: one with oval glazed bezel enclosing plaited hair with enamel plaque bearing the inscription "JULIANA CROMMELIN. OB. 1. NOVEMBER 95"; and three oval mourning rings, each with domed glazed bezel enclosing plaited hair, all with engraved inscriptions to reverse; one inscribed: "JULIANA CROMMELIN BORN 1770. HAIR TAKEN JUNE 1791"; another "WILLIAM CROMMELIN BORN MAY 1756. HAIR TAKEN JUNE 1791;" the third "CHARLES CROMMELIN JUNr. OB.17. OCT. 1788 ANN. AET.30". (4)
