Walshaw No.295 with traverse and elevation mechanisms, carriage of riveted sandwich construction mounted on a channel section slide, the recoil controlled by a hydraulic damper, retracted and traversed by handwheels, gears and chains on a ring mount with loading davit and platform, footboards and other details and finished in black and grey and mounted within a simulated brick and stone casement (later) with various dummy projectiles, charges and ancillary equipment -- 13 x 37in.
