Rising from the spreading foot to the pronounced rounded shoulder supporting a cylindrical neck, a simple loop handle with pointed thumbpiece linking the mouth and shoulder, the body painted in a brilliant coppery lustre with a band of reserved palmette interlace around the shoulder, a band of lobed palmettes below divided by a band of reserved naskh inscription, a band of lobed motifs below reserved naskh inscription around the neck, the interior of the mouth with stylised kufic, mouth chips, otherwise intact
