A REGENCY WALNUT AND MAHOGANY TERRARIUM ON VICTORIAN MAHOGANY STAND
Circa 1820
The hexagonal tapering glazed top with turned and faceted finial above a conforming case with turned columnar uprights enclosing a removable copper and lead-lined well with drainage holes, above a molded base with turned finials, on ring-turned legs joined by a turned X-form stretcher with central spire, one glazed panel of top and each side with hinged panel, the underside with yellow chalk inscription '1814' twice
