The first group modelled as a shepherd playing the bagpipes, his companion turned towards him, both barefoot and seated on rocks, the second group with a gallant standing before a tree-stump and presenting flowers to his companion, she seated on a rock and wearing a garland of flowers, a seated dog at her feet, on shaped rockwork bases (chipping to extremities and slight losses)
