The Helmet Signed Haruta Katsu sada, Edo Period (17th Century), The Rest (18th Century)
Comprising a good sixty-two plate black lacquered suji bachi [ridged bowl], the front plate has a row of standing rivets and a copper crest holder with gilded horns is pinned to the front, mounted with a five stage tehen kanamono of mixed metals, five lame neckguard of iron false lamellae, the small fukigayeshi with gilded fukurin and a copper mon [badge]; together with a russet lacquered iron nara mask, hair moustache and metal teeth; and a pair of black lacquered oda gote [sleeves] mounted on green and gold brocade with added sleeve bags of blue hemp lined with mail
