modelled by J.J. Kaendler, the recumbent hound to the right, its head to the front, with a black muzzle and tail and fine brown markings, its pink collar gilt with scrolls, blue crossed swords mark, circa 1745 (possibly matched, chip to front of cover and a lesser chip to the reverse) -- 17cm. wide
