A needlework picture elaborately worked with much raised work in coloured silks, purl, metal threads and chenille, with seed pearl, bead and other embellishments, with a queen kneeling before a king with attendants, probably Soloman and the Queen of Sheba, a stag, lion, leopard and unicorn below, flanking a fountain, a kingfisher, parrot and squirrel above, perched in fruit and nut trees, infilled with stylised flowers and insects--21 x 16in. (53 x 40cm.), 1660s/70s, English, framed and glazed, some wear and damages
