A George Jones majolica bowl, cover and stand
from a strawberry set, the finial formed as a blue tit, above leaves and blossom on a ground moulded to simulate bark, the interiors enriched in pale-blue, pattern 3370, impressed monogram marks, circa 1873 (the bowl cracked and one foot chipped, rim chips and flakes and some glaze crazing to interior), the stand -- 18cm. diam.
