A CORE-FORMED GLASS AMPHORISKOS
eastern mediterranean
circa 2nd-early 1st century b.c.
Dark green in color, the piriform body with broad, rounded base, a tall cylindrical neck and small rim-disk, with opaque yellow and white threads wound spirally, unmarvered on the neck, marvered on the body where they are tooled into a festoon pattern, with opaque yellow on the rim, and twin green S-shaped handles
