Unfoliated, no catchwords. Signed to the fold. In a number of quires (3rd, 5th, 6th, 11th and 12th) some signatures are printed on the verso of a conjugate leaf in the second half of the quire. Headlines somewhat irregularly used on recto and verso pages. Double column, the commentary continuing under the column of text. 36-45 lines (varying); a page of 45 lines, with headline, measures 202 (212) x 133 mm; a page of 36 lines, with headline and signature, 161 (171, 175) x 133 mm. Types: 1:185 H. (square), unvocalized, for the initial word of Proverbs only; 2:120 H. (square), vocalized for the text, unvocalized for the running titles and keywords in the commentary; 3:90 H. (semi-cursive) for the commentary and the signatures. Line fillers. (Some dampstaining, occasional marginal worming, small marginal chips to first two leaves.) Modern blind and gold-tooled dark brown morocco, edges mottled, striped and stained blue-green in the 17th century, early front flyleaf preserved.
