A set of five Imari dishes
Early 18th Century
Each decorated to the centre with a recumbent figure of a spotted deer looking up at a bird in flight beside a prunus tree, encircled at the well by a trellis-pattern border reserved with floral cartouches and flower-heads, the broad rim with four running deer between trailing branches of plum blossom (one with crack, small chips, some wear to the enamels)
