Painted in cobalt blue under clear glaze with a scholar and attendant in a landscape, a flock of birds, the sun and clouds in the upper half within double-lines, and with a band of blue on the extended, flat edge, the underside undecorated, the clear glaze tinged bluish-green in patches where thick, kiln grit on unglazed foot ring
