Painted in polychrome enamels and gilt over a clear crackled glaze with two large panels of a courtesan's procession, and of men and women at leisure, and with two smaller landscape panels, the neck decorated with two small chrysanthemum-shaped panels of children playing, the surrounding area decorated with geometric shapes and flower heads on a ground of tiny butterflies, separated by formal borders at the neck, above the foot and at the shoulder, the lip and foot with a band of scrolling foliage in gilt; partially legible gilt mark ...zan
