FLOWN Apollo XII Lunar Module Crewman Optical Alignment Sight (COAS) Light Assembly.  Approx. 1.5 in. wide, 2 in. tall with circular top and labeled with part number B50258-1 and serial number 147.  It was flown to the lunar surface with Charles Conrad.  One function of the COAS was to enable the Lunar Module to redock with the Command Module after leaving the lunar surface.  [With:] Manuscript card by Conrad stating: "The COAS ... help locate our Surveyor landing site" and "...has been in my personal collection...".
