The pagoda hood with fret panel to the top and flanked by brass ball and spire finials, outset columns with brass Corinthian capitals and beaded stop fluting, wooden sound frets to the sides, with conforming pilasters flanking the breakarch trunk door, on stepped plinth the brass dial with chime/silent and Whittington/Cambridge rings to the arch, signed on the silvered chapter ring HERBERT BLOCKLEY, SUCC.R TO LUND & BLOCKLEY DUKE STREET ST. JAMES'S, LONDON, with seconds ring to the matted centre, the substantial movement with spot-finished backplate, quarter chiming on a nest of eight bells and with hour strike on gong -- 94in.
