Circa 1780, blue Z mark, incised <->.H. and inverted L. 3
With his black hat pushed to the back of his head, a pale-green jacket, a loose white shirt and purple breeches, standing barefoot holding an axe, resting against a tree-stump with splintered branches and a chisel at his feet, on a shallow square grassy mound base (minute chipping to edge of base, slight flaking to black enamel, minute wear to silvering of axehead)
