possibly Swiss, with prestige marks, the enamel miniature by Pierre Pasquier (1731-1806)
Large oval gold box, the cover inset with an oval enamel on gold miniature depicting a young lady facing left in low-cut white dress with leaf-and frill bordered decollete, flowers in her upswept curled hair, wearing a pearl choker, the miniature echoed on the base by an oval reserve depicting an urn on a sabl ground, both within a laurel border, the box all over chased with trailing foliate scrolls set with flowerheads on a frosted ground, the borders chased with laurel swags intertwined with reeded scrolls
