A cup and saucer from the same service formerly in the collection of Hector Binney was sold Sotheby's, London, 5 December 1989, lot 126.

Jean-Jacques Dieu, active at Svres as a gilder and painter of chinoiseries, flowers and patterns, 1777-1791, 1794-1798 and 1801-1811.
