Circa 1728, enamelled blue cross swords to ecuelle, gilder's 8 to both ecuelle and cover
The cover painted with European harbor scenes in a continuous scene centering a gilt rosette and enclosed within a band of gilt Laub-und-Bandelwerk, the ecuelle with double-scroll handles painted with European harbor scenes within gilt cartouches issuing purple and iron-red foliate scrolls, the interior with a gilt band
3in. (8.9cm.) high, 5in. (12.7cm.) diameter, overall
