Of rectangular form moulded in four gilt-edged sections, each painted in the manner of C.F. Herold with a Kauffahrtei scenes of merchants and their wares by a quayside within a shaped gilt scrollwork cartouche enclosing Bttger lustre and enriched with iron-red and purple scroll-work, a branch of Indiansche Blumen at each corner, the flat shoulder with scattered purple and iron-red flowerheads on trellis-ground sections, the cover with gilt scrollwork within a broad gilt band
