A NAPLES (FERDINAND IV) TOPOGRAPHICAL CUP AND SAUCER
Circa 1785-1795, blue crowned N marks
The cup of inverted pear shape and with bracket handle, each finely painted with Italian village views within a gilt laurel surround, the border with a similar gilt band suspending swags of flowers; together with a Doccia saucer moulded and enriched in coloura with four heavy swags of flowers suspended on gilt ribbons from the hands of flying putti, gilt dentil rim (3)
