The blade hira zukuri, uchizori, tsukare itamehada, komidare hamon, ubu nakago, 9in. (22.7cm.); in its ribbed black lacquer saya, matching silver mounts comprising fuchi-kashira, koiguchi, kojiri, kurikata and uragawara, all chiselled with clouds, silver ishimeji kozuka carved with Mount Fuji and clouds, signed Jyokasai Hirohisa and kao, gilt menuki formed as puppies, 19th century
