1. Hilton's Inkwell. A molded glass cube with brass and metal stopper, on a fitted square brass base, decorated with oriental motif, and well worn from use. German made, circa early 1930s, all original, and among Hilton's personal effects.

Document Signed by the Librarian of Congress ("Archibald MacLeash"), partly printed and accomplished in manuscript, Washington, 10 July, 1943, to the attention of "James Hilton, Hollywood, California." 1 page, narrow 4to, framed. The Library thanks Hilton for donating "the original typescript, corrected by you, of your publication, "The Story of Doctor Wassell."
