The silvered dial signed Robert Molyneux, 30 Southampton Row, Russell Square, London, No. 2353, Roman hour numerals within outer minute chapters with Arabic five minute intermarkers graduated 60-5-10 et seque, blued steel Breguet hour and minute hands, up-and-down dial and recessed subsidiary seconds dial both with blued steel hands, small size movement (diam 57 mm.), Earnshaw escapement, cut bimetallic balance with cylindical heat compensation weights, blued steel helical balance spring, spring foot detent with jewelled locking stone, brass bowl with lacquered white metal bezel, gimballed in three-tier mahogany box, brass corners to top lid and base of bottom section, the middle section with small inset bone plaque (unsigned), external brass drop handles
