The silvered dial signed and numbered Morris & Tobias. 31 Minories, London. 833, Roman hour numerals with gold spade hour and minute hands, blued steel hands for subsidiary seconds and up-and-down dials, Earnshaw escapement, spring foot detent, with jewelled locking stone, cut bimetallic balance with circular heat compensation weights, similar signature engraved on the top-plate, similarly numbered brass bowl with gimbal, three-tier brass-bound mahogany box with vacant brass plaque to the top lid and two vacant bone ivory discs to the front, external brass drop handles
