A Meissen (Marcolini) dark-blue-ground cup, cover and stand
ogee-sided, with key handle and fruit and leaf finial, painted in the manner of Johann Georg Loenig with classical maidens and putti within yellow-ground bands reserved with pink-ground oval panels painted en grisaille with winged masks, the rim gilt with a band of ovolos, blue crossed swords and star marks above 4, iron red 6. to footrims, circa 1780 (some damage and minor restoration)
