53 x 122mm. (2 x 4 in.), two small circular punch cancellations, without loss of text or accomplishment. Decorative typographical borders of printers' flowers, boldly headed "Massachusetts Bank." A check ordering payment to John Adams Welsh of $100.00. Adams' checks are rare; the Kadlec Collection did not contain an example and none have been offered at auction since at least 1975, according to ABPC.
