A SEVRES YELLOW-GROUND CUP AND SAUCER (GOBELET 'LITRON,' ???? GRANDEUR ET SOUCOUPE)
Purple interlaced L's enclosing date letters KK for 1787, painter's mark for Monnet, gilder's mark for Mirey, both incised 47
Painted in colours with baskets of flowers on marble ledges reserved within puce and gilt line borders against the yellow ground painted with alternating pink roses and blue cornflowers within bands of pink rose garlands and green berried vines, gilt line rim
2.3/8in. (8.5cm.) high, the cup, 4in. (12cm.) diameter, the saucer
