THE PROPERTY OF TREVOR POTTS
For nearly twenty years, New York has benefited from the taste of Trevor Potts and the steady stream of beautiful furniture that came with it. Always slanted toward late Georgian and Regency designs, but never completely typecast, Trevor's eye usually focuses on pieces that combine beauty and a certain unconventional quality that is sometimes simply unusual and at other times a little bit eccentric with the result that the furniture he chooses has personality as well as visual charm. This is a very important point to those of us who want to find just the right thing and to avoid dull repetition.
There are chairs, tables, bookcases, cabinets, mirrors, torcheres, fender benches and an assortment of odd, accent pieces. Because Trevor Potts selects pieces he likes and because he likes a lot of variety, the range of his collected furniture is extremely broad within the confines of his time frame. Like his eye, Trevor's collection is subtle and unpredictable. And it is always beautiful, useful and of a very high quality.
