(10 9/16 x 7 1/16 in.), olive-green crushed levant morocco, covers with triple gilt fillet border, spine gilt in six compartments, the second and third gilt-lettered, turn-ins gilt, g.e., by W. Pratt, very slight scuffing to corners and extremities of spine, inner hinges cracked, tightly bound, brown morocco 2-part pull-off case by Mounteney (rubbed); lacking Part 2 title, general title of the 1622 third issue inserted in its place, title for the 1613 second issue of Part 1 inserted from another copy in place of the general title at front, first leaf ("Upon the Frontispiece" verses), engraved allegorical title, and 2 or 3 maps also possibly supplied from another copy, repaired 3-inch tear to 2:P4 affecting a few letters, half-inch loss from adhesion at gutter of first map, washed and pressed, residual faint dampstain to Table, slight soiling to first and last leaves. FIRST EDITION, third issue of part 1, with quire Dd correctly signed and "FINIS" omitted on last page, first issue of part 2, engraved allegorical title by William Hole, engraved portrait of Prince Henry with a lance (second state, lettered "Henricus Princeps") and letterpress dedication leaf, 4-leaf letterpress table, 30 double-page engraved maps (18 maps in part 1 and 12 in part 2, all maps with page-numbers engraved), 2 woodcut diagrams in part 1, woodcut initials and head- and tail-pieces.
