A SILVER SIX-PIECE TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE**
Maker's mark of Tiffany & Co., New York, circa 1870
Comprising kettle on stand, coffee pot, teapot, covered sugar bowl, cream jug, and waste bowl; each on circular foot with four scroll and foliate feet, the stand with four claw and ball feet, the bulbous body chased and engraved with a matte band with scrolls and ivy under a beaded border, one side with circular cartouche engraved with a crest, the upswept scroll handle with ivory insulators and ivy joins, the slightly domed cover with similar decoration surmounted by a bud finial, the kettle cover surmounted by a finial formed as a cherub, marked under bases, the covered sugar bowl and waste bowl also stamped 550 Broadway, the coffee pot, teapot and cream jug also stamped Union Square
The kettle on stand 14in. high; gross weight 190oz.
