A VERY RARE IMPERIAL WHITE JADE AND CLOISONNE ENAMEL PAGODA

The even white jade cylindrical column to the centre is carved and reticulated with figures beside river banks in a mountainous setting below trees, surrounded by six bronze pillars, each encircled by a coiled gilt-bronze dragon, supporting a hexagonal domed roof with sea-shells emerging from cresting and rolling waves below a double tiered pagoda finial, with bells dangling from dragon terminals at the roofs corners, all raised on a fenced platform cast with wan emblems above a waisted cloisonne base decorated with bands of ruyi lappets and stylised flowers (minor losses to enamel)
