(61cm x 43cm), edition, containing 60 plates depicting uniforms, 46 of them aquatints, the remainder in monochrome, with a further 10 plates showing the order of battle of the Imperial Guard and Grenadier Corps, the six Army Corps, the Corps Dtach du Caucase, the Cavalerie de la Garde, and the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Corps of the Reserve Cavalry, three of these plates with coloured schemae showing regimental uniform and facing, and a fourth, also in colour, illustrating the standards of Cuirassier and Dragoon regiments; red Morocco binding, the covers gilt with quadruple fillet border, the front cover bearing the Russian Imperial Arms.
