Turkeys and pigeons with cherries, wild strawberries and squash in a basket, with almonds, gherkins and other vegetables

The present work can be compared to two signed paintings in the Staatsgalerie, Stuttgart, and to a set of three paintings of birds and animals, bought at Padua in 1684 by the 5th Earl of Exeter from the artist, one signed with his initials, now at Burghley House, Leicestershire.
