Painted against a black ground amidst a mountainous and tree-filled landscape, the personification of the phurba with arms and wings outstretched in a flaming aureole holding a vajra and a scorpion, wearing a garland of serpents and severed skulls and piercing a prostrated figure lying on a lotus blossom, with two smaller guardian figures below
