A German porcelain striking mantel clock, 19th century
The case naturalistically modelled and with a pair of seated lovers to the fore, his hat and stick to the left and her basket to the right, the white enamel Arabic dial (possibly replaced, small chips to winding holes) within a gilt-brass bezel and with blued steel hands, the twin barrel movement with silk suspension and strike on bell, pull trip repeat ; some restorations to case -- 19½in. (49.5cm.) high
