The case with chamfered top surmounted by a floral basket, flanked to one side with a dancing girl holding a butterfly and to the other by an amphora on a pedestal, on stepped base with stylised anthemion and floral garland mount to the front and on milled elongated feet, the gilt dial with Roman chapter ring and foliate cast centre, the twin barrel movement with silk suspension and countwheel strike on bell -- 15¼in. (39cm.) high
