The circular grey-veined white marble top above a plain frieze with ebony moulding, on a spreading triangular support and concave-sided tripartite platform with scrolled feet and part-sunk castors, with ash underframe
29¾ in. (75.5 cm.) high; 48 in. (122 cm.) diam.

Lot Essay

The use of ash for the underframe would suggest a Scottish origin.
